1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Lalaland, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
App-store platform terms may also apply to your download and use of the app.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 12 years old and meet any higher minimum age or consent requirement that applies where you live.
- Lalaland is designed as a community for women. You must answer community eligibility prompts honestly.
- You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. A parent or guardian may need to consent where required.
- You may not use Lalaland if we previously removed or suspended you, unless we give written permission.
3. Accounts and security
Provide accurate information, keep it reasonably current, and protect your sign-in credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account and should notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Do not impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts, sell access, scrape the service, or use automated methods without permission.
4. Events, hosts, and attendance
Lalaland provides tools for members to create and join events. Unless we expressly state otherwise, Lalaland is not the host, venue, organiser, employer, agent, insurer, or guarantor of member-created events.
Hosts agree to
- Describe the event, costs, accessibility, location visibility, joining rules, and material risks accurately.
- Manage approvals, capacity, waitlists, cancellations, and member communications fairly.
- Comply with venue rules and applicable permits, safety requirements, and laws.
Members agree to
- Review event details and decide whether attendance is appropriate for them.
- Follow host and venue rules, respect attendance decisions, and update attendance when plans change.
- Use emergency services, not Lalaland support, for immediate danger.
Tickets in Lalaland record event membership or attendance status. They do not guarantee venue admission where separate requirements apply.
5. Member content
You keep ownership of content you create. You give Lalaland a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, moderate, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, promote within, and improve the service.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to share your content and that it does not violate law, privacy, intellectual-property rights, or these Terms. We may remove, restrict, preserve, or disclose content when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or enforcement.
6. Conduct and safety
Follow the Community Guidelines. Harassment, hate, threats, sexual exploitation, scams, dangerous activity, privacy violations, and attempts to evade enforcement are prohibited.
We may investigate reports and use automated and human moderation. We may warn, limit, suspend, or remove accounts or content based on available information. Safety tools reduce risk but cannot guarantee member identity, behaviour, event quality, or personal safety.
7. Optional identity check
The optional check asks for a fresh silent selfie video with prompted movements. “Identity checked” means a reviewer concluded that the video appeared to show a real person completing those prompts. It does not verify legal identity, age, gender, background, trustworthiness, or account uniqueness.
You may withdraw a pending check. Video handling and retention are explained in the Privacy Policy.
8. Suspension, deletion, and service changes
You may stop using Lalaland and request account deletion in the app. We may limit or end access when we reasonably believe these Terms were breached, safety is at risk, law requires it, or continued access could harm the service or others.
Features may change, pause, or end. We will provide notice where reasonably possible, but urgent safety and security changes may happen immediately.
9. Disclaimers and responsibility
Lalaland is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or guarantee the conduct, identity, statements, events, venues, or content of members and third parties.
To the extent permitted by law, Lalaland is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You are responsible for claims caused by your unlawful use, your content, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. Material changes will receive reasonable notice, and continued use after the effective date means the updated Terms apply.
